Gwendolyn’s Playlist

Gwen Poole, Staff Writer

I’m sure there are millions of individuals out there that are just like me who don’t like a certain genre of songs and instead favor individual songs from all kinds of genres. While most people prefer a certain type of music such as rap or rock, I ‒ along with many others ‒ will often hear a song and think to ourselves how this particular one meets our liking regardless of its genre. Here are a list of songs that represent my diverse taste in music:

Play It Again by Luke Bryan
Never Stop (Wedding Version) by SafetySuit
I Hold On by Dierks Bentley
Church Bells by Carrie Underwood
Rockaway Beach by the Ramones
Dirty Laundry by Carrie Underwood
Crazier by Taylor Swift
The KKK Took My Baby Away by the Ramones
Runaround Sue by Dion
Different for Girls by Dierks Bentley
Do You Wanna Dance by the Beach Boys
How I’ll Always Be by Tim Mcgraw
Riser by Dierks Bentley
Johnny Appleseed by Joe Strummer
Build Me Up Buttercup by The Foundations
Do You Remember Rock N’ Roll Radio by the Ramones

Please listen to these with an open mind. Even if you don’t like country or punk rock or whatever, I assure you these songs are worth it.
