The Bruin Voice

My name might be hard for people to pronounce, but literally it’s KAY-LA-NEE. It might also have to do with the fact that my name is spelled wrong, it’s supposed to be Kalani. My mom decided to add a few extra letters. I am a senior, been doing this high school thing for four years now. I participated in cross country and track before I got lazy and quit towards the end of my sophomore year. I no longer wanted to deal with the stress of math and when I lost my interest of being a computer software engineer, it wasn’t worth the torture of Calculus BC. So I decided to take journalism to fill that spot, and so hey now here I am! So I hope I can leave my mark through the literary magazine for BC!
