Steal Their Style: Taylor Swift

People Magazine recently named Taylor Swift the Best Dressed Celebrity of 2014. Though busy with her new album 1989 (I bought it the day it came out and have been loving it ever since), upcoming tours, and song-worth relationship drama, Taylor can always be seen looking confident in her classical chic outfits.

”’The T-Swift Iconic Look”’

”Sweater from H&M; Shoes from Keds; Bracelet from Urban Outfitters: Jeans from American Eagle”

Whether walking the streets of LA or performing at her sold out concerts, Taylor Swift is always rocking high waisted shorts. Recreate Taylor’s iconic “uniform” by pairing a black and white striped sweater with high waisted jeans. To add a pop of color, throw on red sneakers. The pair above is from Taylor’s own “Keds” line, which includes many more floral printed sneakers that are cute and budget friendly.

”’Two Dresses are Better than One”’

”Top and Skirt from Missguided; Sweater from American Eagle; Sandals from Forever 21”
The crop top and skater skirt duo is perfect for those days when you want to bare a little more skin yet still stay modest. Two piece dresses are versatile and are perfect to mix-and-match. Pair the two piece set with tights and a sweater for a casual, winter-ready look.

”’Fearless Coats”’

”Coat from H&M; Dress from Forever 21; Ankle Boots from H&M; Tights from Target”
Transform an outfit from basic to daring by throwing on a bright colored coat. Trade in the simple black or gray peacoat for teal. The pop of color is a bit unexpected for the winter months but it will surely make you stand out in the gloomy gray weather. Pair the coat with an otherwise monochromatic outfit to ensure that the statement coat is the outfit’s center of attention.

The Voice shall not be silenced!
